A portable device designed for phototherapy during hospitalisation, outpatient care and during the transition from clinical care to everyday life in the home environment. Thanks to the specific spectral composition of the integrated LEDs, it provides uniquely high therapeutic efficiency and visual comfort thanks to its large emitting area and optimised brightness component. Its effectiveness has been proven by the National Institute of Mental Health of the Czech Republic.

Basic technical info
Notes
This phototherapy device is only intended for specialised physicians and health professionals who will apply phototherapy as part of treating their patients.
- 5-year warranty
- highly effective patented therapeutic LED light source
- available for outpatient and home application for treatment and prevention
- proven effectiveness for a range of mental disorders
- detailed NIDA certified methodology can be used for application
- circadian effectiveness comparable to the sun
- high representation of cyan wavelengths in the 460-520 nm region ensuring maximum melanopic stimulation
- full-area flat and pleasant distribution of therapeutic light
- high light intensity while maintaining visual comfort
The dimensions of the case are those of cabin luggage to be placed on a table so that its light surface is at eye level of a seated person. It is designed to provide treatment during hospitalisation, outpatient care and during the transition from clinical care to everyday life in the context of home application.
High therapeutic effectiveness is made possible by the use of the unique Spectrasol Therapeutic light spectrum technology (protected by Patent No. 308363) with a high representation of wavelengths within the photosensitivity range of ipRGC cells, which act on the circadian system. At the same time, the spectral distribution is favourable to usersâ eyes by limiting harmful blue wavelengths below 450 nm and encompassing red wavelengths of around 670 nm.
Spectrasolâs unique spectral power distribution and key areas of emitted therapeutic light
Compared to other available devices, the device is equipped with an extra-large luminous area. This makes it possible to create a pleasant environment during the therapy, free of glare for the patient, with the possibility to engage in various activities during the application (reading, having breakfast, working on the computer, etc.).
The case is available in two versions â ON/OFF and with remote control. In the remote control version, the physician can pre-set the appropriate timing of the therapy and thus adapt the luminaire to the specific needs of the client. At the same time, online connection and data sharing can be enabled, so the attending physician is informed about the clientâs therapy progress.
Proven effectiveness
The National Institute of Mental Health of the Czech Republic has checked the effectiveness of phototherapy using the Spectrasol phototherapy case in the following areas:
- Affective experience and mood
- Sleep
- Circadian rhythms
- Monitoring patient cooperation
