Client: Veolia Energie ČR, a.s.
Field of activity: energy, sustainable and eco-technologies for modern buildings
Description of the problem or challenge:
Veolia has built a new sustainability centre, Green Table, located in Prague’s Florentinum in 2022. It was a unique project, the aim of which was, among other things, to draw attention to the importance of environmentally responsible business and to introduce modern technologies used by Veolia in its projects. Our luminaires, utilising the latest biologically optimised lighting technology, were therefore incorporated into the project, which fits in with the company’s strategy.
So the aim was to create lighting…
- …which will be directly proportional to the principles of Veolia, which are sustainability, circularity and responsible behaviour;
- …which can be managed according to the requirements of visitors, and which can adapt to the day and evening operating mode;
- …which will support cognitive functions in meetings, and keep the attention and mood of teams holding various business meetings on the premises.
Description of the solution, technology used:
- ADDAM 3000 procognitive linear luminaire, which uses a bounced beam of light for daylight hours; spotlight reflectors installed with 3F rails from the bottom of the linear luminaires for ambient lighting in the evening and at night
- Lighting control – DALI
Key results:
- Biologically optimised full-spectrum luminaires are applied throughout the Green Table area.
- Thanks to a fully automatic control system, the space is optimally lit for work and relaxation throughout the day, corresponding to the light in nature.
- During the day, the cognitive lamp emits a linear light bounced off the ceiling, and in the evening it turns into evening mode with the help of direct-beam spotlights with warm light, creating a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.
Client statement:
“Procognitive lighting fits perfectly into the whole Veolia Green Table concept. We were pleasantly surprised by the technical solution of the luminaires, including zooming reflectors for ambient lighting, and the whole approach is in line with Veolia’s vision”, comments Václav Mareš, project manager of VeoliaGroup.
