If there’s anywhere people truly think about the impact of buildings on people’s lives, it’s at the University Centre for Energy-Efficient Buildings (UCEEB) at the Czech Technical University (CTU). So, it’s no surprise that they decided to use our cognitive-enhancing lighting here. Currently, it’s in part of the open space for 50 people, but who knows what the future holds.
The project was completed in October 2024, and it seems that the client’s expectations have been met. Dr. Robert Jára, the director of UCEEB, evaluates the result as follows: “We evaluate the implementation very positively. The new indirect full-spectrum lighting is especially amazing now during the winter months. The space has gained a whole new dynamic, and I’m glad that all my colleagues have reacted very positively to the changes. People are praising the more pleasant atmosphere in the space and mentioning that they feel less tired and can concentrate better. The lighting feels very natural and improves overall well-being.”
Given the satisfaction with the solution, the client does not rule out using the lighting in other areas of UCEEB in the future.
