“We love your lighting.” How Rizlly outsmarted dark offices.

12.10.2026 | 4 minutes of reading | Spectrasol

New offices, stylish interiors, but one major drawback – a noticeable lack of natural daylight. At Rizlly, which creates retail concepts for global brands such as Nike, Adidas, Fred Perry and Hugo Boss, they refused to settle for a dark environment. Instead of conventional ceiling fluorescent lights, they opted for Spectrasol pro-cognitive lighting that mimics natural sunlight. The goal was not simply to provide enough light for the desks, but to create a pleasant and healthy environment where people feel good and can concentrate even after several hours of work.

We designed the solution to suit the character of each space. In the open-plan office with high ceilings, we chose direct linear lighting, which provides sufficient illumination directly on the work surfaces. In the other offices, we used indirect lighting, which diffuses light throughout the space by reflecting it off the white ceilings, creating a pleasant lighting atmosphere reminiscent of “the sky above your head” and providing outstanding visual comfort. The different solutions for each space made it possible to unlock the full potential of the offices.

“We love your lighting. In our new offices, we wanted above all to have plenty of daylight and a pleasant working environment. We like that we could choose the solution best suited to the purpose of each space — direct lighting in some areas and indirect lighting in others. We’re really very happy with the result,” says Jakub Zelenay, CEO of Rizlly.
