If you take a deeper interest in lights and circadian rhythms, you’ve probably already come across the name Martin MooreEde. This scientist has been working on the subject for more than 40 years (!) and is the director of the Boston Circadian Light Research Center.
Martin MooreEde is one of the world’s leading experts in this field and with his team has made one of the most important discoveries in the field of chronobiology – they have located the suprachiasmatic nuclei, the central clock of the body in the brain.
In June of this year he published a book, The Light Doctor, a ‘how to guide’ on using light to boost health, improve sleep and prolong a healthy life. And why are we writing about this? Not only because it is a great book (so far only available in English on Amazon), but also because we are extremely proud that the author thought that our Sunflow lamp was a top example of a device that meets the strict criteria of biodynamic lighting. We didn’t find out about this ‘promo’ until the book itself came out, which made the surprise all the more pleasant.
The Sunflow lamp has been available since October this year. We are happy to remind you of the details in an earlier article.
