The field in which full-spectrum light plays a significant role is defense and security. One of the major organizations that tested the Spectrasol solution and subsequently decided to deploy it throughout all its premises is the Military Research Institute in Brno, a research organization of the Czech Army.
The pilot application took place three years ago, and its results were so convincing that the institute’s management decided on a full-scale installation, which began in autumn 2024 and was completed in February this year with the complete replacement of lighting in the extensive historic building. The institute was looking for lighting that would not only meet todayâs standards and hygiene regulations and help reduce energy consumption but also support employee well-being and performance.
The lighting replacement included 90 rooms (offices, laboratories, workshops, and meeting rooms) with more than 380 light fixtures.
According to user feedback, the lighting affects not only visual comfort but also employee well-being, vitality, and workplace relationships.

Note: Due to the nature of the organizationâs activities, it is not possible to publish photos from the installation.
