Description of the problem or challenge
The client needed a complete replacement of the lighting in an extensive historic building that
- meets current standards and hygiene regulations
- supports employee comfort and performance
- contributes to a project aimed at reducing the building’s energy consumption
The client had already tested the Spectrasol solution in 2022 during a pilot project in the accounting department.
Scope and description of the solution
The lighting replacement covered 90 rooms with more than 380 luminaires of eight different types. Given the institution’s focus, full-spectrum daylight lighting was selected for all areas – offices, laboratories, workshops, and meeting rooms. In some laboratories, light intensity control was implemented.

Achieved results
According to user feedback, the lighting affects not only visual comfort but also employee well-being and workplace relationships.
